After winning the Ethias League 2009-2010, Spirou Charleroi has qualified for the Qualifying Rounds for Euroleague. There will be a total of 3 Qualifying Rounds (12 teams) after which two teams will qualify for the Regular Season of the Euroleague.
In the first round, Charleroi will face CEZ Basketball Nymburk from the Czech Republic in a return matchup. The first leg is in Charleroi on the 21st of September, the return leg in Nymburk on the 24th of September. If Charleroi survives the 1st Qualifying Round they advance to play the winner of the Hemofarm-Hapoel Galil matchup. If the reigning Ethias League champion survives this second round, the third round could see the club confronted with the likes of Asvel Villeurbanne, Khimki Moscow or KK Buducnost.
